Ode to an untrimmed beard
A strange collection growing over at this site (via S). Hmmm... the hairless chins of famously bearded faces: amazing indeed.
Anytime I want to complain about the inconvenience and limitations imposed by hilchos tznius, I think of the alternative-being forced to grow a beard-and immediately bless, שלא עשני איש!

My Beard
by Shel Silverstein
My beard grows to my toes,
I never wears no clothes,
I wraps my hair
Around my bare,
And down the road I goes.
Apply simple deductive logic to this limerick and you'll see why I prefer demure dressing any day (even in July) over body-bearing liberties that are contingent upon growing unlimited facial hair.
