Midnight Minyan does the funky trup rhumba... or is it a tango?

Midnight Minyan- good for anytime of day. This is Paul Schapiro's masterful, tongue-in-cheek fusion of klezmer and jazz.

One reviewer on amazon asks, is this a "jazz album of Jewish music, or is it a Jewish album of jazz music?" Whichever you decide, it's a great album.
  • To Life -- a l'chaim to start things off
  • Amda Haftorah Prelude -- groovy liturgy
  • Freigish Behavior -- some good old fashioned shtetl fun
Taddik Records: 2003

UPDATE 3/27/06: I've taken down the music files because it turns out that this would be considered illegal file sharing and violates copyright laws. Sorry.
